WE’RE ON A JOURNEY TO TRANSFORM HEALTHCARE BY HELPING PEOPLE TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR HEALTH INFORMATION. . .BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

LOCATE YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS

In order to participate in our beta program and retrieve your health records, you need to be able to log in to each of your providers' patient portals. Need assistance?

If your provider uses an electronic record system, there is a good chance a patient portal is available for you to see your records. Registration is easy, but in some cases it can take 7 - 10 days for you to receive an access code through the mail. We've provided a link to help you more easily locate your your provider's portal information. Find your provider and follow their instructions. Once you've registered, you will be ready to join our Beta testing community. We can't wait for you to join us.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is beta testing?

Beta testing is a “pre-release” phase of software development where a sampling of users try the product in normal everyday conditions to find bugs and provide feedback. It is expected the product may still have some minor defects that test users will discover.

Who can participate?

Anyone who is registered with a patient portal can participate. Without access to your records through a portal, there is not much feedback you can give us at this time. At this time, an iOS or Android mobile device is also required.

How do I participate?

Once you have informed us of your interest, your name will added to our waiting list. Invitations will be sent out as space becomes available.

Is my health information secure?

Yes. We take privacy and security very seriously. Hugo employs best practices, as outlined in HIPAA and other equivalent regulations and guidelines.

Who will be able to view my health information?

As noted in our Beta Test Agreement, at this stage, and in order to test the software, Hugo developers may need to view your health information. Access to PHR data on Hugo is granted only to individuals who are bound by contractual obligations and HIPAA guidelines to keep personal information confidential and to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them. Access to the system is granted to authorized individuals only when necessary.

Can I request records for my children?

At this time, only people over age 18 may participate.

What is the time commitment and what exactly will I be doing as a Hugo beta tester?

All you need to do is download the app and link your portals.  Beyond that the level of engagement and time commitment is up to you - we’re thrilled that you are interested and willing to help and we often reach out to our beta community for comment on upcoming features, to complete surveys, etc

Will I be informed about the results of the beta test?

Definitely. You will be the first to know about changes made as a result of your input. You will be notified when new versions are released and if you are willing, we will continue to seek your feedback. This is just the beginning, Hugo will continue to improve with each new release.
